On Saturday, August 24, at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre (MICC), Angela Nyirenda ignited the stage with a 20th anniversary celebration. This iconic event caps off at the thrill of just a few days short of Zambia’s 60th Independence Anniversary. Angela and Moses Sakala are the lead figures on a stage that has ensued to host the most unique performance presentations that have enriched Zambian arts for the past three decades.
As Moses talks about Makewane music, he uplifts with great pride what it means to bring class, style, and talent to the Zambian stage. MICC is yet to enjoy the thrust of Angela’s power on the power stage of performance and entertainment.
Angela will honour the emerging talent by blessing and handing over the mantle of Makewane music to the young artists.
